The district of Thrissur witnessed the highest female voter turnout, with 51.2% of women casting their votes. The election also saw a significant increase in the number of female candidates, with 119 women contesting from various parties. While the overall voter turnout in the state was 77.68%, the high female voter turnout is being seen as a positive trend for the state’s democratic landscape.
